Caulerpa Lentillifera – Sea Grapes

Caulerpa Lentillifer is an edible succulent seaweed with a bit salty taste. It is known in different local names such as Arosep, Latok, Sea Grapes or Umi Budo (to name few). Once harvested from the sea, it is expected to be a bit grainy with sand and small stones.  The preparation of which is very simple.  Soak the sea grapes for about 5 minutes in a bowl of water.  Drain and rinse it well to remove all impurities.
